Civic Amenities Site
The Local Civic Amenities Site, presently at The Old Incinerator Site, on Dobinson Way just off Europa Advance Road, is operated by Gibraltar General Support Services Ltd.
At this facility, householders are able to dispose of:
- Bulky timber and furniture items,
- White goods and all other electrical and electronic goods,
- Mattresses,
- Scrap metal,
- Glass items
- Items made of plastic,
- Ink and Toner Cartridges,
- Batteries,
- Light bulbs and Fluorescent tubes,
- Household rubble,
- Rubber tyres, and
- Cooking Oil
These materials are then sent for treatment and recycling at an authorised facility.
The services provided at our local Civic Amenities Site are free of charge to the public and open:
Monday – Friday: 8am - 8pm (including most public holidays)
Saturday and Sunday: 9am – 5pm

EcoPark
Should you have large quantities of recyclate to dispose of, you can also deliver these to Gibraltar’s EcoPark situated at 8 Flint Road, operated by MetalRok Ltd. Please see below for further information on the types of recyclate accepted free of charge and the site’s opening hours.
