Dogs And Cats Notice 1992 Requirements Relating To Visitors

All dogs and cats belonging to and accompanying residents of member States of the European Community visiting Gibraltar, and dogs and cats belonging to and accompanying residents of Gibraltar visiting another member State may be imported accordance with the following conditions:-

1. All such dogs and cats shall not be subject to quarantine.
2. All such dogs and cats shall be covered by a valid certificate of rabies vaccination administered in the case of primary vaccination, not less than 28 days prior to such dog or cat arriving in or returning, to Gibraltar.
3. Every such dog and cat shall be in a good state of health.
4. The ownership of any such dog or cat visiting Gibraltar, shall not be transferred to a resident of Gibraltar unless appropriate application to transfer such ownership is first made to, and the necessary permission granted by the Chief Environmental Health Officer
